We have been back for a few days and still unpacking . . . I was able to get all the ingredients for Gessica's lasagne and Victor's pizza recipe even "oo" flour, a pasta cooking pot and long rolling pin. Tell Victor his pizza is heaven! . . . Bob and I have talked nothing but Italy since coming home. We feel both so blessed to have visited some amazing places and seen such beautiful works of art. There is not one day we would have changed or one moment we would ever want to forget. This was all made possible by your wonderful planning Judith, thank you. Your tours put meaning and perspective to the places we visited together, now making us both want to read, research and understand more about the places we have seen and touched..

This is such a extraordinary trip in my life, there are so many many meanings for me. You showed us  The places, they are such empowered just brought my emotions to the edges that  almost beyond handling...it's very very touched. Ovieta is such an amazing ancient town with stories and spirits. You show your full passion for Ovieta, I wish I could come back soon to see my dear friends. About painting which I have'nt touched since high school, also brought huge impack to me just in 4 sections and I finished with such confidence and joys, want to try more and more. I returned to work today but didn't accomplish much.  I spent most of the day telling everyone what a wonderful time I had in Italy.  Orvieto, of course, featured.  Your ears would have been burning as I raved on and on about the beauty, the amazing foods and wines and our very gracious and entertaining hosts. Everyone is very interested in seeing the finished work of art so I am hoping that as the oils dry the picture is taking on the qualities of a masterpiece.
Big ask but miracles have happened before in Italy.

{Language class] - going very well I think! A lovely combination of conversation and very necessary book work with Antonella and conversation on seeing and doing things with Lucianna. Both ladies are kind, patient, encouraging with excellent knowledge. [On cooking class] - Giuseppina and her mother are a delight. It was lovely to cook in a home, feel confident I can make gnocchi and polenta with sauce at home. Loved the organic vegie garden. [In general] - What I can say? It has been perfect, everything I wanted and more. A very special place to live, have done things that make me feel part of the community. A lovely place to live and dream and I feel it is only a part of my Italian journey. I will return!
